KD 200 for every Kuwaiti!
I will not even attempt to find any logic or reason behind the latest government stunt, simply because there ain't none!
That said, how will you spend your KD 200 when you get your grubby hands on it? Most creative answer gets a prize to be determined later, after the shock has worn off.

u know what the scary part is?? Ppl will start talking about how great and kind our rulers are for such a generous gift!!
Zaydoun, honestly, what other option did they have? This really is the only way to make the uneducated idiots in the majlis shut up and not ask for a raise in all government salaries.
200,000,000 KD spent in one day is better than increasing salaries by 50 for example, and that is for life! So every four yrs, you would be spending that amount instead of just once!
And of course when the country gives u 200, u say wow thx i love my country.....if they even mention the word 'tax', also known as giving back to your country, then it turns into "who the hell do they think they are?? I earned that money! Why should I give anything when others are stealing" (our excuse for everything btw)!
Also, we all know where that money will go....something silly like a downpayment or first installment on his or her new porsche, then taking out a loan and being even more in debt....and ask for more money from the government "boo hoo, poor me, im in debt, i need money, im not being payed enough!"

ديرتنا انترست بنوعين من البشر ، المنافقين و هم اللي راح نشوفهم يهللون و يصفقون حق وزير الطاقة مثل ما تفضل الاخ (كيو) بذكرهم على صفحته ، و الجزء الثاني هم الماديين اللي تفكيرهم ينحصر بالـ 200 د.ك اللي يبي يحصلهم و التي غالبا ما ستذهب من اجل دفع قسط السيارة والا لشراء حذاء جديد من فيلا مودا... و هذا الصنف (المادي) لو تقوله نصرف هالبيزات على الديرة و تطويرها او حتى كاستثمار للمستقبل فبتشوفه ينظرلك نظرة و لسان حاله يقول "أثول أنت"!!!
بس يا جماعة ترى 200 مليون د.ك هذه و تنصرف في يوم واحد ترى قوية ، و إن دلت على شي فإنما تدل على ان حكومتنا مهببة بشي عووود و بتراضي (أو بمعنى أصح بتخدر) شعبها بهالـفلوس!
زيدون ، بالنسبة لسبب المنحة فقد فكرت و فكرت و هم بعد فكرت و اعتقد اني عرفت ليش باخيينا.. الظاهر عن قريب الكهرباء راح تنقطع بشكل متكرر أو دائم ، و على ضوء ذلك كل مواطن راح يشوف نفسه شاريله من هال 200 كم حبة زهيوي (سراي التقمبر) و يظل عايش على هالحاله..
و اذا طلعت توقعاتي صح فإني أنصح جميع الاخوة المواطنين بشراء الزهيوي بو فتيلة حمرة ، هو صج ثقيل و شكله شوي اولد فاشون ، بس عاد هيفي دووتي.

ما دام إنهم بيعطون 200 دينار لكل حامل بطاقه و بدون سبب يذكر هذا شنو معناته؟

1. انهم يزيدون 20% على الراتب
2. اذا صار فائض بالميزانية، يتوزع هالفائض على الموظفين
3. يعطونهم مبلغ ليلحين ما حددوه مره وحده

the 200kd are there to stop the argument about wage raise , which is deadlokced since they say raising it would make it unfair to the privite sector worker , and also would stop people who want the goverment to drop the elec bills which they didn't pay , if the goverment is smart ( ha , right ) they should deduct the 200 if you didn't pay the elec bill , that way you reward the people who paid the bills on time

سمعت قبل جم يوم إنه اطلعت كميات نفط مو طبيعية ويت عوائد كبيرة من النفط وإنه في نية بإعطاء الموظفين زيادة
وكانت المفاجأة إنه مو بس الموظفين حصلوا لكن كل الكويتيين وانا أعتقد إنه هالزيادة الكبيرة بالنفط اليومين إلي طافوا اهمه السبب ولا شيئ أكثر
